Defensive Handgun Course!

Martial Arms Handgun training surpasses most law-enforcement and military firearms training. These courses are for individuals who may wish to start toward their Concealed Carry Weapon permit (CCW) and begin an understanding of the tactical handgun.

Martial Arms founder, Don Busse, will be teaching a FULL ONE DAY course starting with the basics at Martial Arm’s NEW RANGE—  “The Peak”

  • Safety
  • Lecture on the defensive handgun
  • Presentation from the ready and holster
  • Loads and malfunctions
  • Multiple targets
  • Failure to stop
  • Low light and no light shooting.

Cost : $325.00  $120.00!

Located near the southern tip of the Sequoia National Forest, “The Peak” offers a 40 acre wilderness playground with a multi function 250 meter rifle range good for zeroing, tactical rifle and tactical handgun training. A “jungle” lane for tactical training exercises, shaded seating areas, privy, massive fire pit and cooking area and more.

Those who wish to camp out after the class can look forward to campfires and camaraderie. Meeting location for car caravan (4-wheel drive RECOMMENDED) and student supply list and needs will be provided upon receipt of registration fee.

Don’s military career spanned over twenty years. Progressing from Crew Chief to Flight Chief, Flight Line Expediter to Senior Weapons Systems Controller (flight line manager). With a professional education that includes NCO and Senior NCO Academies, attendance at the Air Force institute of Technology to earn his rating of project manager plus the “real world” education from Vietnam, Korea, the Cold War, Desert Storm service and even being held hostage during an overseas mission has given Don a unique perspective in the tactical use of firearms. The latter part of his career included duties as the lead sniper on the base special operations team and managing a South American drug interdiction aircraft program. Don retired as a Master Sergeant with many awards and decorations.

Don Busse spent over a decade in competition shooting— handgun, rifle, shotgun and sub-machine gun. International practical shooting confederation— combat and action shooting matches. He has won over a hundred and twenty civilian and military awards. Don is one of only a few that possesses BOTH U.S. Air Force competition-in-shooting badges for handgun and rifle.

Don has been trained by and has trained the elite of the planet, including Green Berets, Navy Seals, U.S. Marines, Israelie Special Operations, GSG-9 and many federal and local law enforcement agencies.
