meadow_valley_range4x6KNBK Study Group Himawari Yama Dojo is hosting Robin Ramirez, Renshi for a TWO day seminar covering the Traditional Japanese Sword of the Kokusai Nippon Budo Kai— Seito Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iaijutsu Heiho!

The Himawari Yama study group co-locates with the Nevada Karate Association in Sparks, Nevada and is one of the few study groups for traditional japanese swordsmanship in the north west region. Himawari Yama is headed by Tom Bengston, Sandan, KNBK Iaijutsu and is a student of Robin Ramirez, Renshi.

MG_2718Ramirez Sensei is the USA-West Regional Director for the Kokusai Nippon Budo Kyokai under the auspices of Carl Long, Hanshi-ho— 22nd Soshihan of the KNBK. Ramirez is also Bakersfield Budo Director and Shibu-cho and is responsible for the instruction and certification of several study groups and individual students throughout the western United States.

Fostering the true spirit of Budo, Ramirez Sensei continues to practice the technical and philosophical lessons taught by his teachers.
