Robin Ramirez

Ramirez Sensei has been given the opportunity to study with senior instructors of traditional Japanese Budo; accomplishing a solid and extensive understanding that he strives to pass on to his students.

As Bakersfield Budo Director and Shibu-cho, USA-West Regional Director for the Kokusai Nippon Budo Kai, Ramirez Sensei is responsible for the instruction and certification of several study groups and individual students throughout the western United States.

  • Karate Do-Shito Ryu, Yondan
  • Shindo Muso Ryu Jojutsu, Nidan
  • Ryukyu Kobujutsu, Shodan

David Loya

Loya Sensei serves as Dai Sempai (senior student) at Bakersfield Budo, KNBK Shibu Dojo, under the direction  of Robin Ramirez, Rokudan, Shushi, Seito Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iai Heiho.

Loya was awarded Sandan (3rd degree) by the First Chairman & Soshihan of the Kokusai Nippon Budo Kai – Shimabukuro Masayuki Hidenobu and is an officially licensed instructor of Iaido in the KNBK. Granted certified membership (Iaido) to the Dai Nippon Butoku Kai in 2007.

Jason Parsons

Jason Parsons Sensei has been practicing Aikido for 28 years and is Yudansha certified Fukushidoin by United States Aikido Federation. Parsons Sensei serves as Aikido chief instructor and co-founder of the Kern River Aikikai.
